Album Notes & Community Reviews

Issued during the agonizing, multi-year legal battle that delayed their sophomore album, 'Turns Into Stone' compiles the vital non-album singles and B-sides from The Stone Roses' meteoric 1989-1990 peak. The tracks perfectly capture their revolutionary fusion of shimmering, 1960s psychedelic jangle-pop with the infectious, shuffling beats of Manchester's burgeoning acid house scene. Featuring the sprawling masterpiece 'Fools Gold', the collection is widely considered equal in quality to their legendary debut.
