Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as the legendary vocal group's debut full-length, this release is largely a compilation of their early, pre-stardom singles recorded for the Gordy label. Featuring a mix of doo-wop remnants and the developing, polished architecture of the classic Motown sound, it provides a fascinating, foundational look at the quintet before they achieved massive international crossover success.
