Album Notes & Community Reviews

Assembling the New Zealand outfit's earliest singles and EP tracks, this collection is an essential document of the foundational Dunedin Sound movement. It highlights Graeme Downes' highly literate, classically influenced songwriting, marrying nervous post-punk energy with sophisticated harmonic shifts and biting, existential lyricism.
