Album Notes & Community Reviews

Comprised entirely of cover songs recorded throughout his various late 70s and 80s tours, this archival collection pays tribute to the artists who shaped the legendary Texas songwriter's craft. Highlighting interpretations of Lightnin' Hopkins, Bruce Springsteen, and Bob Dylan, it offers a rare glimpse into his deeply personal musical lineage. The release underscores his singular ability to imbue existing narratives with his own weary gravitas.
