Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiling the brief, profoundly influential recorded output of the British music journalist and punk pioneer, this release spans her work from 1979 to 1982. Featuring collaborations with members of PiL, The Slits, and The Flying Lizards, the tracks are characterized by heavily delayed dub production, avant-garde vocal styles, and fierce, feminist lyricism. The compilation solidifies her legacy as a critical architect of the dub-infused post-punk sound.
