Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Whiplash' delivers a highly kinetic, mechanical fusion of aggressive pop rap and sleek, futuristic electronic production. The record leans heavily into themes of triumph and sensual hedonism, executing complex rhythmic changes and extensive English-Korean code-mixing. It reinforced the quartet's reputation for highly stylized, technically demanding commercial pop releases.
