Infections of a Different Kind (Step I)

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the first half of a sprawling two-part album project, the Norwegian pop prodigy delivers an incredibly lush, highly cinematic collection of alternative pop. The record heavily expands upon her acoustic folk origins, integrating massive choirs, tribal percussion, and glittering electronic synthesizers. Anchored by her soaring, wildly expressive vocals, it acts as a deeply empathetic exploration of human resilience and ecological interconnectedness.
