Octagon

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus' unrivaled mastery of analog texture, this hypnotic project buries relentless mechanical propulsion beneath layers of static and vinyl hiss. The resulting tracks are famously immersive, evoking the desolate, decaying industrial landscape of early-1990s Berlin. It seamlessly blurs the lines between ambient soundscapes and functional, repetitive dancefloor tools.
