Phylyps Trak

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Establishing a harder, more direct dancefloor edge than their strictly atmospheric dub pieces, this foundational release operates around relentless, metallic propulsion. The tracks heavily utilize degraded tape hiss and phased synthesizers that mimic the bleak industrial environment of post-wall Berlin. It serves as a masterclass in tension and subtle rhythmic evolution over long running times.
