Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving amidst an incredibly prolific streak of non-album singles, this specific collection surprisingly earned the Scottish indie legends an NME 'Single of the Year' award. The gorgeously arranged 'A Century of Fakers' highlights Stuart Murdoch's cynical, observant storytelling wrapped in saccharine acoustic pop. The string arrangements are noticeably more ambitious, reflecting the band's rapidly expanding studio confidence.
