Emperor's Return

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the immediate follow-up to their groundbreaking debut, this intensely heavy release famously introduces American drummer Reed St. Mark to the trio. The tracks showcase a sharper, more aggressive thrash metal attack that deeply influenced the burgeoning extreme metal scenes in both Europe and the United States. Tracks like 'Circle of the Tyrants' perfectly embody Tom G. Warrior's unmistakable, grunting vocal delivery and massive, sludgy riffing.
