Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at the historic Hansa Studios in Berlin, this EP presents acoustic and string quartet reimaginings of selected tracks from CHVRCHES' 'Love Is Dead' album. The stripped-down arrangements purposefully strip away the band's signature synth-pop maximalism to highlight the melancholic core and vocal vulnerability of Lauren Mayberry's performances. The result is a lush, cinematic companion piece that reframes their electronic anthems.
