Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed as a brief collaborative project between producer Yasutaka Nakata and model Kate Sakai, this self-titled mini-album is a pristine slice of Japanese picopop. The music marries the dense, electro-house beats typical of Nakata's production with Sakai's remarkably calm and melodic vocal delivery. It serves as an uplifting, warm, and highly influential blueprint for the subsequent Shibuya-kei electronic pop revival.
