The Raging River

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Intended as a thematic bridge continuing the expansive concepts explored on their 'A Dawn to Fear' album, this crushing release maintains the Swedish collective's absolute mastery of dynamics. The sprawling tracks brilliantly contrast suffocating, heavy guitar riffs against quiet, synthesizer-driven post-rock valleys. The project notably features a somber, surprising guest vocal performance from legendary alternative rock vocalist Mark Lanegan on the track 'Inside of a Dream'.
