Album Notes & Community Reviews
Originally composed as material intended for Grizzly Bear's 'Shields' album, the acclaimed co-frontman repurposed these incredibly dense, baroque arrangements for his first solo release. The recording highlights his profound mastery of complex acoustic fingerpicking, sweeping piano chords, and slightly cryptic, introspective lyricism.
