Album Notes & Community Reviews

David Bowie's twenty-second studio album reunites him with producer Tony Visconti, returning to the art rock territory of his Berlin period with songs shadowed by mortality and faith. Recorded in upstate New York in the months after September 2001, 'Heathen' pairs electronic textures with live instrumentation and covers of Pixies, Neil Young and The Legendary Stardust Cowboy.
