Album Notes & Community Reviews

A collaborative EP created in a brisk three-day studio session, 'UNLOCKED' showcases a potent synergy between Denzel Curry's aggressive, versatile rhymes and Kenny Beats' crunchy, sample-heavy production. The project is a nod to the gritty sounds of 90s boom bap, with influences of Wu-Tang Clan and Madlib evident throughout its concise and energetic runtime. The accompanying short film further enhances the album's creative and spontaneous energy.
