Album Notes & Community Reviews

The official debut EP from Devil Sold His Soul, following their initial self-titled demo. 'Darkness Prevails' captures the raw, formative stage of the band's sound, merging chaotic hardcore energy with the nascent ambient textures that would become their trademark. The recording laid the groundwork for their critically acclaimed full-length, 'A Fragile Hope', and is a vital document of the UK's burgeoning post-hardcore scene at the time.
