Missa

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Missa' is the debut EP by the Japanese visual kei rock band Dir En Grey, released in July 1997 through the Free-Will label[cite: 4]. Serving as their first official release after forming earlier that year, the six-track collection showcases the group's early blend of alternative rock with darker, theatrical elements[cite: 4]. While lacking the extreme metal intensity of their later work, the EP establishes the melodic sensibilities and emotional vocal performances that would define their initial rise to prominence.
