Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released between their landmark albums 'Insomniac Doze' and 'Recitation', 'Abyssal' is a masterful EP that perfectly encapsulates Envy's cinematic sound. The tracks are epic, emotionally charged journeys that build from delicate, spoken-word passages to towering crescendos of melodic post-rock and passionate screamo. It's a breathtaking and essential release for any fan of the band's mid-career period.
