Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring music composed by Jacques Dutronc, this recording eschewed the typical cheerfulness of the Y茅-y茅 era for a uniquely sophisticated, melancholic atmosphere. Hardy's understated, almost detached vocal delivery paired with reverb-drenched twang guitars established a timeless blueprint for French popular music.
