Petals for Armor I

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Petals for Armor I' introduces the Paramore frontwoman's highly anticipated solo project with a deeply introspective, surprisingly dark exploration of art pop. The five-track release utilizes sparse, anxious rhythms and subtle post-punk textures to process themes of severe trauma and emotional healing. It was widely praised as a brave, mature, and remarkably melodic stylistic departure.
