Masterfully recontextualizing 1990s R&B vocals, particularly prominent samples of Aaliyah and Kelis, this project stands as a monumental pillar of the post-dubstep movement. The producer strips away the aggressive bass drops of contemporary club music in favor of delicate, heavily syncopated percussion and warm, swelling synthesizer chords.
