Album Notes & Community Reviews

Frustrated by major label interference, J Dilla released this incredibly raw, highly influential tape independently in Detroit. 'Ruff Draft' deliberately utilizes gritty, unpolished mixing and heavy synthesizer bass to highlight his unmatched, off-kilter swing and incredibly sharp, boastful lyricism.
