Harmony of Difference

Conceived as a six-movement suite, 'Harmony of Difference' is a conceptual work exploring the musical principle of counterpoint. The EP presents five distinct compositions that introduce individual melodic themes, ranging from post-bop and soul-jazz to funk. These separate ideas are then synthesized and layered in the expansive final track, "Truth," a grandly arranged piece that combines the preceding motifs into a cohesive whole, driven by a powerful dual-drummer rhythm section and featuring lush textures from horns, strings, and a choir.
