Frostbite

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Rapidly evolving away from the ironic, viral internet rap that defined her earliest releases, the artist fully embraces lush, trance-inflected 1990s electronic pop. The shimmering, nostalgic production perfectly cushions her breathy, incredibly melodic vocal delivery, resulting in a surprisingly earnest and emotionally resonant collection of late-night club anthems. It successfully reestablished her as a serious visionary within the modern internet pop underground.
