Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as an essential companion piece to Robert Altman's revisionist western, this collection gathers the sparse, acoustic ballads heavily featured in the film's atmospheric score. The haunting fingerpicking and deeply poetic lyricism perfectly underscored the movie's themes of frontier isolation and tragic romance.
