Persona

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Italian producer brilliantly deconstructs the euphoric build-ups of 1990s trance music, completely removing the cathartic bass drops to sustain an atmosphere of endless, unresolved tension. The bright, pointillist synthesizer arpeggios bounce with frantic, algorithmic precision, transforming nostalgic rave tropes into highly intellectual, avant-garde electronic exercises. It earned massive praise for pushing the conceptual boundaries of modern dance music.
