Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the first ever solo endeavor from the primary Depeche Mode songwriter, this atmospheric collection of cover songs completely strips down compositions by Sparks and The Durutti Column into intensely brooding synth-pop dirges. The incredibly sparse arrangements and his signature, mournful vocal delivery highlight the deeply melancholic core that informed his concurrent, stadium-filling masterworks.
