The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the crucial studio introduction of bassist Jason Newsted following the tragic death of Cliff Burton, this famously raw release features entirely covers of late-70s and early-80s British punk and heavy metal acts. It was recorded hastily in a rehearsal garage, intentionally capturing a loose, incredibly energetic spirit that honored the band's primary musical influences. The title humorously insisted that retailers not overcharge fans for the brief five-track release.
