Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally included exclusively within a massive career-spanning vinyl box set, this collection unearths crucial acoustic recordings predominantly laid to tape between 1992 and 1995. The tracks showcase Jeff Mangum's raw, unvarnished songwriting talent prior to the complex orchestral arrangements of his beloved full-length albums. It provides essential historical context for fans regarding the early evolution of his surreal, poetic lyricism.
