Album Notes & Community Reviews
The debut EP by Los Angeles band Otep, released by Capitol in June 2001 after the group was signed from an Ozzfest showcase without a demo. Frontwoman Otep Shamaya's spoken-word and screamed delivery over nu-metal arrangements introduced the band's anti-authoritarian themes.
