Existing as the sole recorded output from this short-lived British collective, the project is characterized by overwhelmingly bleak, grinding tribal rhythms and abrasive noise. The dark, droning tension perfectly anticipated the looming gothic rock movement, featuring crucial early performances from future members of Renegade Soundwave and The Wolfgang Press. It served as a foundational, highly influential release during the formative early years of the legendary 4AD label.
