Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving mysteriously alongside their self-titled EP, this release further introduced Ishmael Butler's (formerly of Digable Planets) radical new sonic direction. 'Of Light' relies on deeply submerged, booming synthesizers and tribal percussion to support abstract, highly cryptic lyricism steeped in Afrofuturist philosophy.
