Applications

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Making his debut on the Munich-based Ilian Tape imprint, German techno producer René Pawlowitz delivers the 'Applications' EP under his primary Shed moniker. The brief collection pairs his signature atmospheric sound design with the intricate, breakbeat-infused production aesthetics championed by the label. Stripping back lush melodies in favor of heavy, repetitive minimal techno rhythms, the record creates a distinctly surreal and hypnotic dancefloor environment.
