Album Notes & Community Reviews

Initially recorded as an acoustic solo piece, this heavily electrified iteration perfectly capitalized on the emerging folk-rock movement. The jangly, electric 12-string guitars contrast sharply with Paul Simon's deeply cynical and psychologically isolated lyrical themes, creating a tense, enduring pop masterpiece.
