Album Notes & Community Reviews

A punishing, rhythmic milestone of early industrial rock. Michael Gira layers brutal, metallic percussion samples against harsh, chanted vocals, creating an oppressively heavy atmosphere that bridges the gap between no wave and extreme noise music. The EP notably features early vocal contributions from Jarboe, whose presence signaled the band's upcoming evolution toward more atmospheric textures.
