Album Notes & Community Reviews

'This Thing of Ours' showcases a masterclass in subdued, drumless hip-hop production, heavily relying on lush, obscure soul and jazz loops. The brief compilation features a closely knit roster of underground lyricists delivering calm, conscious verses over mellow instrumentation. It solidified the producer's unparalleled influence over the modern abstract rap renaissance.
