Pivoting away from the dense, tragic narratives that defined their earlier masterpieces, the Brooklyn trio embraced expansive, slow-burning atmosphere. Conceptually built entirely around oceanic imagery, the release submerges Peter Silberman's delicate falsetto in deeply hypnotic, brass-accented post-rock textures that resemble a slow, peaceful drowning.
