Album Notes & Community Reviews

The self-financed, incredibly charming debut release from the Portland indie-folk institution. While lacking the sweeping, multi-instrumental orchestral scope of their later full-lengths, the EP firmly establishes Colin Meloy's hyper-literate, deeply nostalgic storytelling and their signature, accordion-driven folk rock sound.
