Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by Brian McMahan following the dissolution of Slint, this slowcore project emphasizes agonizingly deliberate pacing and immense tension. The sparse arrangements weave whispered vocals, creeping basslines, and sudden bursts of dissonant guitar, expanding upon the suspenseful post-rock groundwork laid by his former band. It stands as a masterful exercise in extreme musical restraint.
