Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as one of John Darnielle's final projects recorded exclusively on his infamous Panasonic boombox, 'Devil in the Shortwave' is a masterclass in lo-fi storytelling. The brief EP features raw, passionately strummed acoustic guitars backing some of his most potent and lyrically dense character sketches.
