Duck Stab

The fiercely anonymous San Francisco collective delivers one of their most notoriously bizarre and relatively accessible early works. The incredibly short, jagged tracks feature nightmarish nursery rhyme structures, gratingly out-of-tune guitar lines, and terrifying, heavily manipulated vocal performances that perfectly define the outer limits of the avant-garde pop spectrum. It was quickly repackaged with a B-side to form the highly influential full-length 'Duck Stab! / Buster & Glen'.
