Album Notes & Community Reviews

Led by the eccentric Robyn Hitchcock, this debut 7-inch introduced a highly unusual collision of abrasive punk energy and 1960s psychedelic melodicism. The surrealistic lyrical themes and jangling guitars established a foundational cult blueprint for the jangle pop and neo-psychedelic revivals of the following decade.
