Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released shortly after being dropped by their major label, this fiercely energized six-track collection stands as one of the band's most urgent and melodic achievements. Adrian Borland's intensely passionate, tortured vocal delivery is pushed to the forefront, backed by driving, atmospheric post-punk synthesizers and sharp guitar lines. Despite remaining criminally overlooked commercially, the release is highly revered by genre aficionados for its unyielding emotional weight.
