The Tallest Man on Earth with yMusic

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating alongside the prominent New York chamber ensemble yMusic, 'The Tallest Man on Earth with yMusic' is an elegant five-track EP. The project features yMusic's intricate, classical string, horn, and woodwind arrangements wrapped around Matsson's signature fingerpicked acoustic-guitar melodies and raspy vocals. The record compiles sweeping, majestic rearrangements of fan-favorites from his back catalog, showcasing the versatile expressive limits of contemporary folk.
