Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the highly theatrical San Francisco underground, this early release brilliantly fused jittery punk energy with cold, primitive synthesizer arrangements. The manic, driving title track became an unexpected underground dancefloor anthem, establishing the foundational blueprint for the emerging minimal synth genre. The darkly paranoid atmosphere and bizarre instrumentation highlighted their unique position within the broader post-punk landscape.
