A Quick Fix of Melancholy EP

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Having long since abandoned their black metal origins, the Norwegian collective utilizes this release to further explore deeply cinematic, neoclassical electronica. The heavily orchestrated tracks blend somber strings, operatic vocal samples, and glitching, abstract rhythmic textures into a darkly majestic suite. The EP serves as a direct, moody thematic precursor to the sweeping electronic grandiosity of their 'Blood Inside' album.
