Album Notes & Community Reviews

Presenting a sophisticated and highly melodic approach to heavy metal, this influential debut helped forge the stylistic framework for American power metal. William J. Tsamis's classically inspired guitar work and the epic, fantasy-driven compositions offered a dramatic alternative to the raw aggression of contemporary thrash.
