Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded entirely in a rural Georgia bedroom, this hazy collection of washed-out synthesizers and lo-fi pop hooks practically invented the chillwave movement. The lead single, 'Feel It All Around', became the inescapable anthem of the era, later serving as the theme song for the television series 'Portlandia'. It masterfully weaponized nostalgia and 1980s pop aesthetics into a highly influential summer aesthetic.
